About the Lecture Series

An annual lecture series shaping the future of clinical oncology

We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural Gustave Roussy–Lancet Lecture Series on Cancer Breakthroughs. This annual series of clinical oncology lectures will bring together leading oncologists from around the world to present and discuss emerging concepts shaping the future of cancer care.

This inaugural lecture will be delivered by Professor Timothy R. Rebbeck, an internationally recognised leader in cancer epidemiology and prevention, and will focus on personalised cancer prevention. Professor Rebbeck will explore the full potential of precision cancer prevention, including how risk-stratified approaches can help identify the right person, time, and intervention to prevent cancer.

Open to the public, this Lecture Series will be of particular interest to clinicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, students, and others working in the field of oncology. The lecture will be followed by a live panel discussion, an audience Q&A session, and an in-person networking drinks reception.
